About the Opportunity

Foremost is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Specialist to join our team at our facility in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time position will work closely with our Lead Hand, Charge Hand, and Foremen to drive continuous improvements and perform tasks related to hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently to interpret complex hydraulic diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.

• Install, assemble, and repair hydraulic motors, drives, and pumps, and assist in testing and commissioning these components in various types of vehicles and equipment.

• Assemble components to meet quality and performance standards.

• Troubleshoot hydraulic issues on new and used equipment, and provide technical expertise to Field Service personnel to facilitate field repairs.

• Assist less experienced personnel with work methods, work habits, and performance.

• Perform other tasks related to hydraulic system maintenance and repair.

Requirements:

• Must have certification from a recognized training facility or demonstrate the ability to meet the requirements to the satisfaction of Management.

• Preference for Journeyman Millwright or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician.

• Strong track record of building, servicing, and troubleshooting complex mobile hydraulic equipment.

• Must have a complete set of tools necessary for all phases of mechanical and hydraulic assembly.

• Experience is an asset.

• Safety training is an asset, but will be provided as required.
