Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Load buspans and trays with food and supplies.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Take customers' orders and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements:
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Public transportation is available.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Reliability, team player, and dependability.
