Culinary Specialist

Chez Mai II is seeking a skilled and experienced chef to join our team. As a culinary specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Language: Vietnamese.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Food Safety Certificate.
- Cuisine Specialties: Cantonese cuisine and Thai.
- Geographical Areas of Specialization: South East Asia.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding job requiring repetitive tasks.
- Dependability: Dependable and organized individual with initiative.
- Reliability: Reliable and trustworthy team player.
- Duration: 1 year to less than 2 years.
