Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team at Fraserway RV. As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, and maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service, including greeting and assisting with luggage
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bus
  • Inspect the bus for damages and ensure all equipment is in working order
  • Adhere to traffic regulations, using defensive driving skills, and driving with seat belts
  • Transport customers to and from the rental facility
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver's license (Class 2 or 4 or 1 with drivers abstract)
  • Possess a class 4 medical
  • Possess a commercial driver's abstract - current within 30 days
  • Have customer service experience
  • Have experience in driving passengers
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs to assist customers with luggage
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Being fluent in German or Dutch is considered an asset
  • Be able to work well under pressure
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work on weekends

Work Conditions

  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Shift work required, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings
  • Overtime may be required
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods and to bending, twist, push, pull, and carry equipment and supplies
  • Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required, including shovelling snow, carrying RV parts, and cleaning equipment/supplies
  • Manual dexterity required to operate cleaning equipment, including power washers and hand tools
