Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Technician to join our team. As a Senior Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare journal entries
  • Enter various transactions and accounts payable
  • Ensure accuracy of financial reports and statements
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and other government filings
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
  • Support cost accounting and project management
  • Participate in month-end close and financial statement preparation
  • Assist with year-end audit and financial statement preparation
  • Manage cash flow and accounts payable
  • Prepare and submit various reports and statements

Requirements:

  • DEC or certificate in accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with complete accounting cycle
  • Intermediate level of Excel skills
