Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

Ultramet Industries Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This includes conducting component defect investigations, collecting and analyzing data from accidents, and inspecting and evaluating material and equipment for compliance to standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct component defect investigations and examinations to identify root causes of defects
  • Collect and analyze data from accidents to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards
  • Remove and replace defective parts to ensure product quality
  • Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing
  • Ensure that procedures are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations
  • Ensure that process steps are carried out according to specifications
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Check, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance to equipment
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
Work Environment:

The Quality Assurance Officer will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week.
