Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Ultramet Industries Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting component defect investigations, examinations, and tests, as well as collecting and analyzing data from accidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct component defect investigations, examinations, and tests to ensure compliance with standards
  • Collect and analyze data from accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards
  • Remove and replace defective parts to ensure product integrity
  • Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing
  • Ensure that procedures are conducted in accordance with laws and regulations
  • Ensure that process steps are carried out according to specifications
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Check, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance to equipment

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Hours: 40 hours per week
