Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Financial Controller to join our team in Montreal, QC. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for managing a team of accounting staff, reviewing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes, delivering reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company policies.
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • CPA accounting designation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • French and English proficiency required.
