About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at goeasy Ltd. as a Learning Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality learning solutions that meet the needs of our employees and support the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create engaging and effective learning solutions that align with business objectives and learner needs, utilizing sound instructional design principles and industry best practices.
  • Technical Writing: Write clear, concise, and accurate technical content for a variety of learning formats, including e-learning, webinars, videos, manuals, guides, and job aids.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance checks and user testing to ensure the functionality and usability of learning products.
  • Stakeholder Management: Apply feedback from stakeholders, subject matter experts, and business leaders, revising content as necessary to ensure timely delivery of learning solutions.
  • Research and Analysis: Perform background research and content analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Subject Matter Expert Interviews: Review source materials and conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather essential content for courseware design and development.
  • Course Mapping and Assessment: Map course objectives and assessment strategies from requirements, design documents, and training KPIs.
  • Blended Learning Solutions: Create blended learning solutions that incorporate classroom training, eLearning courses, and on-the-job activities, catering to business needs and learner preferences.
  • Process Documentation: Author process manuals and procedural documents for diverse topics and audiences.
  • Industry Trends and Technologies: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in instructional design and technical writing through ongoing research.
  • Program Measurement: Develop and maintain effective program measurement strategies to evaluate the impact of learning initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Hold a bachelor's degree in communication, educational technology, adult learning, or a related field.
  • Experience: Bring at least three years of instructional design experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Technical Skills: Possess technical writing skills, which are considered a valuable asset. Proficient with authoring tools and platforms, including Articulate Storyline. Have experience with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
