Position Overview

As a Therapeutic Services Aide at FIREFOX COUNSELLING LTD., you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals in delivering effective treatment programs. Your contributions will be vital in assisting patients with rehabilitation and recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct examinations to evaluate clients' conditions and recommend appropriate hearing instruments.
  • Test Administration: Utilize specialized equipment to administer tests, instruct patients on procedures, and accurately record results.
  • Rehabilitation Support: Implement treatment plans as directed by physiotherapists and occupational therapists to aid patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Wound Care: Clean and dress wounds, apply and adjust casts, and remove sutures and pins as necessary.
  • Office Management: Oversee routine administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and ordering supplies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a related role.
  • Work Hours: Availability for 30 to 40 hours per week.
