Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at the University Health Network. The successful candidate will work with clients suffering from acute and chronic workplace injuries, providing hands-on treatment and rehabilitation services to enable them to reach their fully functional and work reintegration potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physiotherapy services to clients with work-related injuries, including orthopedic disorders and chronic pain
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote client recovery and return to work
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes and services
Requirements
- Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum one year of experience in treating clients with work-related injuries, MVA, or experience in the third-party healthcare system
- Strong FAE and Return to Work planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and services
