Cross-Cultural Management Professor

Description:
As a Cross-Cultural Management Professor at the University of Ottawa, you will be responsible for teaching students about the complexities of intercultural situations in international contexts. You will need to have a strong understanding of theoretical aspects of various disciplines linked to comparative management, including culture, values, behaviour, intercultural communication, and their relation to the dynamics of management, organizational structure, human resources, technology transfer, and ethics in an intercultural context.
Responsibilities:
- Teach students about cross-cultural management and its applications in international contexts
- Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students and the University
- Conduct research in the field of cross-cultural management and publish findings in academic journals
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement interdisciplinary courses
Requirements:
- PhD in Cross-Cultural Management or a related field
- Experience teaching at the university level
- Strong research background in cross-cultural management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time regular professor position, with a workload of 39 hours per week. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 3 courses per year, with a maximum of 75 students per course.
