Job Title: Medical Clinic Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Assistant to join our team at DERRY URGENT CARE CLINIC INC.

Job Summary:

The Medical Clinic Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Clean and maintain equipment, and record vital signs
  • Prepare solutions for preservation of specimens, and maintain supplies
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress, and prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
  • Process files and paperwork, and schedule and confirm appointments
  • Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history, and manage routine office functions
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and maintain a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent oral communication skills, reliability, and teamwork
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 45 hours per week
