Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Downtown Toronto. As a Business Analyst - Financial System Implementation, you will play a critical role in the implementation of a financial system, working closely with the Finance Director, PMIS Project Team, and IT to identify business requirements, create data structures for data conversion, and integrate them into the Financial system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial integration between PMIS and Finance System by understanding Finance and Project management team requirements thoroughly.
  • Assist in designing master data management and determining data flow between PMIS and Finance System.
  • Participate in business requirements workshops with the project team.
  • Attend workshops delivered by the System Integrator's project team to facilitate the project conversion from PMIS to Financial Systems, representing the Finance team.
  • Engage in stakeholder interviews.
  • Evaluate current Finance procedures, identify information requirements, and data structures needed for PMIS.
  • Create Finance business requirements and document Finance processes, including financial control.
  • Support the project team in developing data conversion templates and documentation to ensure financial information completeness.
  • Collaborate with IT and system implementors to develop test scripts related to Finance requirements, facilitate UAT, and customize reports based on the finance requirements.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, finance, or related fields.
  • CPA designation or in progress.
  • 5 - 7 yrs experience in business/financial analysis, financial project activation, project funding sources, project costs, financial results, and accruals.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in financial management best practices, particularly in the real estate industry and project management.
  • Experience in implementing technology solutions, project management solutions at an enterprise-wide or multi-departmental level.
  • Experience in data conversion for large, complex system implementations.
  • Proficient in business requirements gathering and process redesign for core financial processes.
