Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Care Specialist to join our team at Quality Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and heavy debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Heavy Lifting and Moving: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Personal Hygiene and Sanitation: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment; work with minimal supervision.
  • Weather-Related Tasks: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
