About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications in accordance with professional and legal standards.
- Provide counseling and education to patients on the use of medications.
- Assist in developing and coordinating patient care functions, such as medication reviews and patient care-oriented activities.
- Interact with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Abide by all regulations and policies related to the control, safekeeping, and sale of drugs.
- Assist with checking and adjusting customer complaints within established policies.
- Assist with the movement of inventory, including receiving and selling prescription pharmaceutical products.
- Be aware of and informed about company contracts, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Provide prompt, courteous, friendly, and caring service to customers to promote good member/customer relations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy with a license to practice in Saskatchewan.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
