Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload of Return To Work focused files
  • Coach and mentor claims adjudicators on rehabilitation practices and procedures
  • Research, plan, develop, implement, and monitor vocational rehabilitation to facilitate risk management and return to work for disability claims
  • Complete thorough and objective assessments, accurately document information, and deliver quality, cost-effective rehabilitation work product within established service standards
  • Ensure effective vendor utilization to maintain cost-effectiveness and appropriate risk management activities
  • Partner with claim adjudicators, doctors, and rehabilitation specialists to deliver effective service solutions
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education
  • 5 years of current, proven clinical experience in occupational health, rehabilitation, or case management, industrial disability management, worker's compensation, psychiatric, cardiac, emergency care, or orthopedic nursing
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and balance multiple goals and priorities
  • Teamwork, including well-developed collaborative and persuasive skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with customers in a professional manner with a high degree of customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, PowerPoint, and/or similar applications
  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English with excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • CVRP Designation or RRP designation
Work Environment

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of an extension to 18 months. This position is fully remote, and the successful hire will have the ability to work from anywhere in Canada. Please note that fluency in both English and French is required to apply. Only applicants fluent in both languages will be considered for this position.
