About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Cilantro Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for our customers.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are served in a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
    • Sanitize all equipment and utensils to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Ensure that all supplies are properly labeled and stored to prevent spoilage and contamination.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to customer needs.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and professional.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Repetitive tasks.
    • Standing for extended periods.
    • Work under pressure.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. Public transportation is available.
