Job Title: Diversity and Inclusion Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversity and Inclusion Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our People and Culture department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our EDI strategy, ensuring a workplace culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual EDI programming and events that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to activate and amplify EDI externally and throughout our offices.
- Develop and implement EDI strategy, best practices, and metrics to measure firm progress.
- Collaborate with Communications and Recruitment to build EDI brand, outreach, and visibility aligned to our national EDI, People & Culture strategy.
- Oversee general EDI and culture communications, including reviewing and updating related content in newsletters and intranet.
- Partner with Talent and HR teams to embed EDI in their talent processes.
- Contribute to and participate in relevant committees across the firm to embed EDI at the earliest stages of planning.
- Oversee external partnerships related to EDI.
Qualifications:
- Completed education in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing HR or EDI strategy within Legal or any other Professional Services environment.
- Experience in leading and developing communications and employee engagement initiatives, ideally in EDI.
- Experience in analyzing data and developing data-driven solutions.
- Experience in providing advice or coaching in EDI and/or HR.
- Strong experience in communications, including writing and delivering reports and presentations.
- Strong ability to work with and collaborate with leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, set own priorities while maintaining flexibility.
