Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpentry Apprentice to join our team at Shed City and Outdoor Living Ltd. As an apprentice carpenter, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced carpenters in various aspects of carpentry work, including construction, repair, and maintenance of outdoor structures.
  • Develop and refine your skills in carpentry, including working with wood, metal, and other materials.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your knowledge and skills.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a registered apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • Work setting: Ability to work in various locations, including residential settings.
  • Security and safety: Bondable and willing to undergo a criminal record check.
  • Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Own tools/equipment: Ability to provide own tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, reliable, and a team player.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
