Job Title: Bilingual Communications Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Communications Officer to join our team at Pshcp-Aa. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write high-quality content in both French and English for various communication products, including the PSHCP Bulletin, website articles, and the organization's annual report.
  • Respond to requests for information from our membership and other stakeholders, track progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Appeals area to ensure continuous coverage and provide cross-training opportunities.
  • Oversee the translation of documents and website content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Provide administrative support on special projects and initiatives, including formatting documents and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act by following established procedures and responding to ATIP requests.
Requirements:
  • Fluent bilingualism (French and English) is essential for this role.
  • Post-secondary education (University degree or College diploma) is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field is necessary, with a suitable combination of education and experience also considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent writing skills in French and English are essential.
  • Proven experience in the development of communications products is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry and the PSHCP is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act is also an asset.
