Key Responsibilities- Perform Full Tender Process: From invitation to submission, you will be responsible for managing the tender process for a 100% self-performance demolition company.
- Conduct Quantity Take-Offs and Cost Estimations: You will be responsible for conducting thorough quantity take-offs and cost estimations to ensure accurate bid submissions.
- Review Scope and Complete Bid Forms: You will review the scope of work and complete bid forms to ensure that all necessary information is included.
- Conduct Site Visits and Attend Bid Interviews: You will conduct site visits and attend bid interviews to gather information and answer questions from clients.
- Communicate and Negotiate with Suppliers: You will communicate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure that all necessary materials and services are procured.
- Prepare RFIs (Request for Information) with Clients: You will prepare RFIs with clients to clarify any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain the Tender Tracker and Track Submissions: You will maintain the tender tracker and track submissions to ensure that all necessary information is up-to-date.
- Follow Up with Clients Throughout the Bidding Process: You will follow up with clients throughout the bidding process to ensure that they are satisfied with the progress.
- Review Production with the Operations Team: You will review production with the operations team to ensure that all necessary steps are being taken.
- Mentor and Train Junior Team Members: You will mentor and train junior team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Present Bid Opportunities to Management: You will present bid opportunities to management to ensure that they are aware of all potential opportunities.
- Seek New Demolition Opportunities: You will seek new demolition opportunities to ensure that the company is always looking for ways to grow and expand.
- Review Public Demolition Opportunities: You will review public demolition opportunities on platforms such as MERX, BIDS, and TENDERS to identify potential bids aligning with company capabilities and goals.
- 4+ Years Construction Experience: You will have a minimum of 4 years of construction experience, with a focus on demolition.
- 2+ Years Demolition Focused Estimating Experience: You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in demolition focused estimating.
- Mid/High-Rise Demolition Estimating Experience: You will have experience working on mid/high-rise demolition projects.
- Experience Working for a Specialist Demolition and Abatement Business: It is highly preferred that you have experience working for a specialist demolition and abatement business.
- Basic Salary: Up to $140,000 (dependent upon experience)
- Annual Bonus Eligibility: You will be eligible for an annual bonus.
