About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Superior Laundry Services Ltd. as a Housekeeping Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, public areas, and other facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room Cleaning: Ensure that hotel rooms are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for guests, including making beds, changing sheets, and restocking linens.
  • Public Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Perform various housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry, as well as restock linens and towels.
  • Disinfection and Sanitation: Disinfect and sanitize high-touch areas, such as door handles, light switches, and remotes.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
