Senior Financial Analyst Opportunity

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is partnering with Right Traffic to find a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Dartmouth, NS.

About the Role:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis, developing and maintaining complex financial models, and creating dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis and identify key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel
  • Create and manage dashboards and reports in Power BI
  • Lead bottom-up forecasting and budgeting for the company
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience working in a high-growth organization with a focus on multi-site/multi-division environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Proven track record in bottom-up forecasting and budgeting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
