Director of Ecommerce

Brandt is seeking a seasoned ecommerce professional to spearhead the growth and optimization of our online sales channel in Regina, SK.

This role will report to the Vice President of Customer Experience and will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive ecommerce strategy, driving online revenue and profitability, and enhancing the customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce, with a proven track record of driving online revenue and profitability, and excellent leadership and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the revenue, expenses, and profitability of Brandt's online business.
  • Develop and implement a data-driven ecommerce strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, including site updates, promotions, and customer service.
  • Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Function as the primary point of contact and internal expert on our ecommerce strategy and systems.
  • Optimize the customer journey and user experience to improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive traffic and conversion through paid and organic channels.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to ensure smooth operation of the ecommerce business.
  • Integrate and reinforce data-driven decision making.
Requirements:
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to drive business decisions.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of driving online revenue and profitability.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in ecommerce, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Extensive ecommerce experience, including management of a large-scale ecommerce platform, resulting in an increase in customer lifetime value and revenue for the organization.
