Drive Regional Economic Growth

As the Chief Executive Officer of Invest WindsorEssex, you will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive economic growth strategy for the region. This includes driving business retention, small business start-ups, and overall economic growth through strategic partnerships and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to leverage ongoing economic development initiatives
  • Prioritize initiatives that ensure equitable access to opportunities for all members of the community
  • Position the region as a preferred destination with a diverse workforce and a forward-thinking growth agenda
  • Act as a principal relationship developer with businesses, public institutions, and other key stakeholders in the region
  • Set priorities, create performance metrics, leverage and allocate resources, and promote continuous learning with your team
Requirements:
  • An accomplished leader with experience working with Boards, government representatives, corporate decision makers, and community leaders
  • Superior communication skills, modeling excellence, respect, and trust
  • Champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, establishing strong relationships with diverse stakeholder communities
  • Thrives in complex, changing environments
