Job Title: Childcare Support Worker Wanted

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate childcare support worker to join our team at Sitly. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism and challenging behaviours.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a support worker to assist a 7-year-old boy with autism with his morning routines and drop him off at school from Monday to Friday, 7AM to 9AM. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for picking him up from school, helping with routines at home, and accompanying him on community outings from Monday to Friday, 2PM to 7PM. On Sundays, the support worker will assist with home routines and community outings from 9AM to 3PM.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with morning routines and drop off at school (Monday to Friday, 7AM to 9AM)
  • Pick up from school and assist with routines at home (Monday to Friday, 2PM to 7PM)
  • Accompany on community outings (Monday to Friday, 2PM to 7PM)
  • Assist with home routines and community outings on Sundays (9AM to 3PM)
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with autism and challenging behaviours
  • Ability to learn from our Behaviour Consultant regarding the child's goals
  • Criminal record check required
