- Oversee staff consultation and grievance processes.
- Facilitate the HR department's activities to align with organizational objectives.
- Manage and supervise daily operations.
- Guide and direct team members.
- Assess and enhance daily operational functions.
- Design, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and initiatives.
- Review HR projects to ensure adherence to legal standards.
- Provide guidance to management and staff regarding human resources policies, benefits, and collective agreements.
- Establish and enforce organizational policies and procedures.
- Administer employment equity and other HR programs.
- Oversee contract management.
- Coordinate employee performance evaluation and appraisal systems.
- Investigate employee benefits and health and safety practices, recommending improvements.
- Lead the development of communication strategies.
- Advise senior leadership on HR matters.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns.
- Recruit, train, and manage HR staff.
- Collaborate with management, union representatives, and HR consultants.
- Conduct recruitment and hiring processes.
- Perform employee performance assessments.
- Suggest enhancements to operational methods and systems.
- Evaluate workplace environments and procedures to mitigate health risks.
