About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Construction Trades Assistant to join our team at Ecliptic Builders LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting our tradespeople and ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Tradespeople: Provide support to our tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, as directed.
  • Load and Transport Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from project sites.
  • Mix and Apply Materials: Mix and apply materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Operate Equipment: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, as directed.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring the safety of workers and the public.
Work Environment

As a Construction Trades Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with varying weather conditions and physical demands. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
