Job Title: Construction Trades Helper

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team at Titan Construction & Contracting. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: outdoors, noisy, dusty, and hot.
  • Work setting: urban area, various locations, and construction sites.
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
  • Nail guns, drills, and hand tools.
Construction Specialization:
  • Industrial, commercial, and institutional, as well as residential construction.
Security and Safety:
  • Bondable and willing to undergo background checks.
Transportation/Travel Information:
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for work.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Physically demanding work environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Weight Handling:
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
