About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Aworks Tiling LTD. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles on walls and floors, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, measuring, and marking them.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials to ensure a strong bond between tiles and surfaces.
  • Set tiles in place, aligning and straightening them to achieve a professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout to create a seamless finish.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
  • Install tile strips and build underbeds, ensuring a secure and stable installation.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials and tools.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, 30 hours per week position with a welcoming work environment. The language of work is English.
