About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Aworks Tiling LTD. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Installation
    • Prepare surfaces to be covered with tiles, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free of any debris.
    • Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowels.
    • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
    • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
  • Tile Cutting and Fitting
    • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
    • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Specialized Tasks
    • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
    • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
    • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
    • Install tile strips.
    Requirements
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile setting.
    • Ability to work on the road and in various environments.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
