Package Handler

We are seeking a skilled Package Handler to join our team at FedEx. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, scanning, and sorting freight within the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload freight from vehicles and containers
- Scan and sort freight within the facility using automated systems
- Transport freight within and between facilities
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with assistance
- Valid full driver's license and good driving record required
This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be required to work varying shifts, including early morning starts, and may be required to work overtime during peak periods.
