Package Handler

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Package Handler to join our team at FedEx. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of freight within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Freight Handling: Load and unload freight, scan, and sort freight within the facility to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Freight Transportation: Transport freight within and between facilities, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with proper equipment.
- Driver's License: Possess a valid full driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Training and Development: Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrent training programs.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingualism (French and English) is required for candidates residing in the province of Quebec.
- Driver Competency: A valid driver's license and a driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to the date of application are required.
This is a full-time position with varying shifts based on business needs. The ideal candidate will be able to work up to 30+ hours per week and adapt to early start times (0400AM). We offer a competitive pay range and opportunities for professional growth and development.
