Job Title: Journeyman Powerline Technician

Valard Construction LP is a leading powerline contractor, serving clients in both public and private sectors. We offer construction services in overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems, substations, fiber optics, as well as substation and transmission foundations.

We are seeking qualified Journeyman Powerline Technicians to join our team. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will provide crucial support to our projects. If you are a self-motivated, team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for electrical work, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and construction of distribution lines, following instructions and procedures.
  • Work safely and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Foreman or Senior Valard Team member.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Red Seal Journeymen Powerline Technicians, local to Timmins.
  • DZ license minimum, preference given to AZ license.
  • Experience in electrical work and maintenance.
  • Positive attitude and good work ethic.
