Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver financial analysis and support to management regarding manufacturing operations.
- Assess project expenditures, compare actual versus projected budgets, and evaluate performance metrics.
- Engage regularly with stakeholders across various departments including purchasing, logistics, sales, and operations.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual corporate budgets for manufacturing.
- Conduct monthly accounting for sales, inventory, and reconciliations.
- Facilitate the implementation of new software for project management and evaluations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, job costing, and management accounting.
- Proven experience in financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, commercial printing, or construction sectors is advantageous.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Proficient in MS O365, particularly MS Excel.
- Experience with MS Dynamics is a significant asset.
Soft Skills and Attributes:
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Innovative and strategic thinker.
- Excellent time management abilities.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Fluency in English.
Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) personal security clearance.
