Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Administrator to join our team at CPKC. As a key member of our Information Services department, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Linux infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direction and advice on capacity planning, future installations, and design
  • Automate and orchestrate the use of Linux environments using Tanium, Orchestrator, and automation suites
  • Configure and manage Linux systems using Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, and Desired State Configuration (DSC)
  • Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, bash, and Python
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 to 15 years of infrastructure experience
  • 1 to 3 years of virtual infrastructure experience
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
  • Virtualization technologies using VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V
  • Design and configuration of converged infrastructure
  • Cluster experience with SLES and RH
  • Storage technologies using Dell/EMC and Netapp
  • Protocols including CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, and FC
  • Cisco networking products and technologies
