About the Role

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wind Service Technician to join our team. As a Wind Service Technician, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of Siemens Gamesa wind turbines at our Saskatchewan Wind Turbine site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new field procedures and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLC programming and converters.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid Passport and Driver's License.
