Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at DIWAN A DAWETT RESTAURANT LTD O/A DAWETT RESTAURANT. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Coordinate special events and banquets, including menu planning and logistics
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory records
  • Manage kitchen operations, including budgeting and scheduling
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a chef or in a related role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
