About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Hakka Nation. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers, while ensuring profitability and efficiency.

Food Preparation and Presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Kitchen Operations Management

Supervise and train kitchen staff, manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Customer Service

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Work Setting

Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and physically demanding work setting.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Suitability

Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills are essential.

Working Conditions
  • Work Hours

35 to 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.

Language

English language proficiency required.
