Parts Person - Part Time
Location: Cochrane, AB
Southland Transportation is seeking a skilled Parts Person to support our team in Cochrane. The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering parts, receiving and entering inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure and receive parts as requested by mechanics
- Enter parts and inventory data into our computer system
- Manage inventory levels and perform cycle counts
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork and documentation
- Collaborate with shop management to maintain schedule compliance and priorities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills and data entry experience
- Class 2 driver's license (asset)
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks
- High level of organization and attention to detail
This is a part-time position working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
