Key Responsibilities include:

  • Installing various new refrigeration units on trailers, trucks, and vans
  • Monitoring and testing system performance using gauges and instruments
  • Adjusting valves to specifications and charging systems with the appropriate refrigerant
  • Testing lines, components, and connections for leaks
  • Installing wiring to connect components to an electrical power source
  • Positioning compressors, condensers, and other components in designated locations using hand tools and welding equipment
  • Cutting, bending, threading, and connecting pipes to functional components and refrigeration systems
  • Lifting and aligning components into position using hoists or tackle systems
  • Fabricating and assembling structural and functional components of refrigeration systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Background in Mechanical/HVAC or relevant experience
  • Personal set of general tools and storage
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ozone Depletion Certificate is preferred
