General Dynamics Produits de défense et Systèmes Tactiques – St-Augustin is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our building infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of projects, including relations with stakeholders and suppliers.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely completion and meeting objectives.
  • Evaluate project risks, impacts, and contingency plans, ensuring effective mitigation strategies.
  • Present project progress to senior management, including technical, financial, quality, schedule, risk, and opportunity aspects.
  • Communicate with internal clients to ensure resource allocation, consider GD-OTS Canada's needs, and maintain cohesion with various functions.
  • Collaborate with service providers, including engineering firms, construction contractors, and other suppliers, to establish business relationships and strategies.
  • Establish resource needs (financial and human) for project phases, starting with the submission phase.
  • Work closely with procurement to manage suppliers involved in projects, evaluating risks and approving offers.
  • Deploy activities required for project execution in a matrix organization context.
  • Coordinate team activities to meet technical and quality requirements, delivery schedules, financial parameters, and other project needs.
  • Identify and evaluate financial, performance, and delivery risks associated with program activities and deploy mitigation plans.
  • Monitor project finances, presenting monthly reports on ongoing work, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 10-15 years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure (building)/construction projects.
  • Bilingualism (French-English) spoken and written is essential. Knowledge of English is required, as internal stakeholders, external clients, suppliers, and service providers primarily interact with us in this language.
  • PMP certification is an asset.
