Position Overview: Join our dynamic team as a Technical Consultant Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in the Material Review Board (MRB). Your primary responsibility will be to assess and resolve nonconformities related to Global 5500/6500/7500 cabin and aircraft during completion, flight testing, and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support to Operations, Methods, and Quality teams.
  • Engage with engineering specialists in various domains, including Flight Science, Stress, and Systems, to ensure effective resolution of issues.
  • Interpret and analyze Engineering drawings, specifications, and aircraft manuals.
  • Work primarily on day shifts, with potential for alternate shifts based on business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, complemented by 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with a technical degree and pertinent aerospace experience.
  • Possession of or previous experience with engineering Liaison MRB approval at Bombardier is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with both metallic and composite aircraft structures, along with aircraft system installations.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong technical judgment paired with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a valuable asset.
  • Proficient in navigating Engineering mockups using CATIA V5.
