Position Overview: We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Senior Technical Consultant at Cpus Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc.

Contract Duration: 1 year
Work Arrangement: Remote
Weekly Commitment: 35 hours
Security Clearance: A CSIS Security Clearance is a prerequisite for employment, and the clearance application must be initiated upon application submission. Failure to do so will result in application rejection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business needs and convert them into technical requirements.
- Work collaboratively with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration of software components with other systems.
- Identify and rectify code issues through debugging and troubleshooting.
- Conduct code assessments and provide constructive feedback to developers to uphold code quality.
- Recommend tools and technologies to enhance the development workflow and software efficiency.
- Create comprehensive documentation of software features and functionalities.
- Offer technical mentorship and training to junior developers and team members.
- Follow best practices in software development and adhere to coding standards.
- Engage in testing and quality assurance to ensure software meets specified requirements.
- Prepare technical reports and manuals.
- Deliver technical presentations.
- Support technology initiatives and rollout solutions.
- Facilitate customer training sessions.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Manage Azure DevOps Boards.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven track record in software development with successful project completions.
- Certifications in relevant technologies and methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft tools including Azure DevOps, Power BI, SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power Automate.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Strong skills in markup and styling languages like HTML and CSS.
- Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and testing frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Familiarity with various software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on complex software projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
