Job Title: Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Knight Piésold Consulting. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for planning and participating in geotechnical site investigation programs, completing geotechnical and civil engineering analyses and design, and overseeing construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and participate in geotechnical site investigation programs
  • Complete geotechnical and civil engineering analyses and design
  • Oversee construction projects
  • Coordinate technical work within several disciplines and groups
  • Project management activities
  • Write technical reports
  • Prepare detailed proposals and schedules
  • Mentor and train junior and intermediate staff

Current assignments may include tailings dams, geotechnical support to operating underground and open pit mines, mine infrastructure, water retaining dams, pipelines, and hydropower facilities. We place an emphasis on developing practical solutions to meet our clients' needs, and preference will be given to individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in addition to strong technical competence.
