Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Menard Canada Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects. This will involve analyzing reports and preparing recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects
  • Analyze reports and prepare recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects
  • Design and develop geotechnical solutions for civil engineering projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure geotechnical aspects are integrated into project plans
  • Conduct site investigations and collect data to inform geotechnical design decisions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical design principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
