The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a critical member of our team at Fed IT, responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' information assets. As a seasoned security professional, you will work closely with our executive management to assess and define acceptable risk levels for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement a Comprehensive Security Program: Design and maintain a strategic information security management program to protect our clients' information assets.
  • Collaborate with Business Units: Work with our business units to facilitate risk assessment and management processes, ensuring that our security policies are aligned with our business objectives.
  • Lead Security Initiatives: Provide leadership within our organization regarding information security, collaborating with stakeholders to raise awareness of risk management issues.
  • Investigate and Mitigate Security Threats: Investigate, evaluate, and propose action plans in the face of potential security threats or risks, working with internal and external security partners.
  • Supervise Security Analysts: Supervise a security analyst and work with external suppliers involved in our security ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • Professional Certification: Professional certification in security management, such as CISSP or CISM.
  • Experience: 5 to 12 years of experience in a combination of risk management, information security, and information technology related positions.
  • Skills: Proficiency in information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a high level of personal integrity.
  • Education: Degree in business administration or technology field required.
