Site Supervision Technician

Join CIMA+ as a Site Supervision Technician within our esteemed bridge and engineering structures division. In this pivotal role, you will play a significant part in various rehabilitation, monitoring, and inspection initiatives concerning bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other engineering structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project execution and ensure adherence to established plans and specifications.
  • Evaluate the work completed against the provided plans and specifications, ensuring quality control and accurate material quantities while preparing daily documentation.
  • Compile necessary documentation for payment requests.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between design teams and the construction site to address issues, manage expectations, and coordinate stakeholder interests.
  • Draft formal notices to contractors to guarantee compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Implement measures to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and directives pertaining to the project.

Qualifications

  • DEC in civil engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural projects (bridges, engineering structures, buildings).
  • Completion of worksite safety training (ASP card).
  • MTQ Construction and Repair of Structures certification (preferred).
  • AQTR training in supervision and monitoring of STC-102 roadwork signage (preferred).
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French and English is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders, including clients, partners, and cross-functional teams nationwide.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
