Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Center Director to oversee our operations in a thriving educational environment.
The Center Director holds ultimate responsibility for the commercial, operational, and academic functions of the centre, as well as the welfare of both staff and students. We are in search of a leader with a strong sales orientation, exceptional customer service skills, and robust business management expertise to enhance the appeal of our center through the delivery of an outstanding student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs the development strategy for the center, encompassing commercial and business growth initiatives alongside operational requirements.
- Oversees all operational activities, ensuring the center operates efficiently, effectively, and profitably.
- Manages the establishment and administration of the Private Career College.
- Ensures compliance and accreditation with both provincial and national regulatory bodies.
- Designs and implements an accommodation strategy tailored to the center's needs.
- Conducts monthly performance reviews using data to ensure service delivery aligns with objectives.
- Assists with daily financial processes and prepares necessary financial reports.
- Ensures adherence to budgets, reviewing them as directed by the CFO and implementing necessary adjustments.
- Fosters strong relationships with agents and the sales team.
- Leads, mentors, and supports school staff, promoting a positive work environment aligned with Bayswater Values: Community engagement, open-mindedness, challenging the status quo, and embracing adventure.
- A bachelor's degree is required; a teaching qualification is advantageous.
- Experience in senior management within an educational institution.
- Management experience in a Private Career College setting.
- Proven experience managing international student groups.
- Knowledge of child safeguarding and best practices.
- Proficient in IT, particularly Excel, with strong numerical skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized, capable of multitasking, and adept at prioritizing tasks.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring.
- Results-driven and customer-focused with a solid commercial acumen.
- A collaborative team player who can engage with a diverse range of individuals.
